fa از قطعیت تا شَک؛ امکان تولید نظریه یا منشأ بی‌ثباتی؟ نگاهی انتقادی به نقش «شک» در شکل‌گیری نظریه‌های معماری معاصر From Certainty to Doubt: A Possibility for Theory Production or a Source of Instability? A Critical Look at the Role of “Doubt” in the Formation of Contemporary Architectural Theories تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research «شک» در فرایند نظریه‌پردازی می‌تواند هم زمینه‌ساز بازاندیشی و تحول باشد و هم در صورت گسترش بی‌حد، ثبات مفهومی و امکان داوری نظری را با مسئله مواجه سازد. بر همین اساس، این پژوهش نقش «شک» را در شکل‌گیری نظریه‌های معماری معاصر به‌صورت انتقادی بررسی می‌کند و می‌کوشد روشن سازد که شک تا چه اندازه می‌تواند به‌عنوان نیرویی مولد در بازاندیشی و تحول نظریه عمل کند و در چه شرایطی به تضعیف مبانی مشترک و بی‌ثباتی نظری بینجامد. پژوهش با تکیه بر ادبیات معرفت‌شناختی و نظری، از شک روشمند دکارتی و خطاپذیری پوپری تا مفهوم تغییر پارادایم کوهن و مباحث نظری معماری معاصر، دو وجه متعارض شک را مورد نقد قرار می‌دهد. تحلیل نشان می‌دهد که شک زمانی واجد ظرفیت نظریه‌ساز است که به پرسش از مفروضات تثبیت‌شده، بازتعریف مسئله و صورت‌بندی مواضع و معیارهای قابل دفاع منجر شود. در مقابل، هنگامی که تردید به تعلیق دائمی هرگونه مبنا و معیار تبدیل شود، توان نظریه برای تبیین، داوری و هدایت عمل معماری کاهش می‌یابد. بر این اساس، تمایز میان «شک مولد» و «شک بی‌ثبات‌کننده» نه بر پایه شدت تردید، بلکه بر اساس پیامد آن برای فرایند نظریه‌پردازی صورت‌بندی می‌شود. نتیجه نقد نشان می‌دهد که نظریه معماری برای پویایی نه به قطعیت‌های تغییرناپذیر نیاز دارد و نه می‌تواند بر نفی مستمر همه مبانی استوار باشد؛ بلکه به نوعی ثبات انتقادی، موقت و قابل بازبینی نیازمند است. این چارچوب می‌تواند مبنایی برای ارزیابی مواضع نظری و بررسی نسبت میان نقد، نظریه و عمل در پژوهش‌های آتی معماری فراهم کند.   “Doubt” in the process of theorization can both provide a basis for rethinking and transformation and, when extended without limit, challenge conceptual stability and the possibility of theoretical judgment. Accordingly, this study critically examines the role of “doubt” in the formation of contemporary architectural theories and seeks to clarify the extent to which doubt can function as a productive force in the rethinking and transformation of theory, as well as the conditions under which it may lead to the weakening of shared foundations and theoretical instability. Drawing on epistemological and theoretical literature from Cartesian methodological doubt and Popperian fallibilism to Kuhn’s concept of paradigm shifts and contemporary architectural theory the research critically addresses the two opposing dimensions of doubt. The analysis shows that doubt possesses theory-generating potential when it leads to questioning established assumptions, redefining problems, and formulating defensible positions and criteria. By contrast, when doubt turns into the permanent suspension of any foundation or criterion, theory’s capacity to explain, judge, and guide architectural practice is diminished. On this basis, the distinction between “productive doubt” and “destabilizing doubt” is formulated not according to the intensity of doubt, but according to its consequences for the process of theorization. The critical analysis concludes that, in order to remain dynamic, architectural theory requires neither immutable certainties nor a continuous negation of all foundations; rather, it needs a form of critical, provisional, and revisable stability. This framework can provide a basis for evaluating theoretical positions and examining the relationship between critique, theory, and practice in future architectural research. شک؛ نظریه معماری معاصر؛ بازاندیشی انتقادی؛ بی‌ثباتی نظری.
